UPCOMING WEBINAR
October 16, 2026 | 8:00 CET / 14:00 SGT / 17:00 AEDT | Zoom
Due diligence in carbon markets is evolving. Regulatory frameworks are tightening, disclosure requirements are expanding, and the technical, commercial and operational considerations shaping project quality are becoming more complex. For investors and other market participants, this means knowing what to assess, when to assess it, and how different risks can change the picture is increasingly important.
In this session, Calyx Global will showcase how our due diligence capabilities have expanded beyond GHG and SDG ratings to address a broader set of questions across carbon markets. We bring together expertise spanning carbon integrity, technical and operational considerations, commercial and financial analysis, legal and regulatory issues, environmental and social risks, and delivery and counterparty assessment.
Drawing on recent engagements, we’ll explore how this broader approach is being applied across projects and PoAs, methodologies and crediting approaches, and programme and government frameworks — including Article 6 work. Through selected examples, we’ll highlight the questions clients are asking, where broader due diligence can add value, and what we have learned from cases where factors beyond carbon integrity materially change the assessment.
Join us to hear:
-
How due diligence needs evolve at different stages of a project or transaction
-
The broader range of questions that investors, buyers, developers and programme partners are bringing to Calyx Global
-
Where technical, commercial, financial, legal, regulatory, environmental, social and delivery considerations can materially affect a decision
-
What recent Article 6.2 and 6.4 work illustrates about assessing risks and opportunities beyond the individual project
-
How to determine what type of diligence is appropriate at different stages—from early project development through to investment, procurement and programme-level decisions
Our experts will share a practical look at how the questions around carbon projects and programmes are changing and how Calyx is bringing a broader set of skills to help clients navigate them.
